Installation

Turn off power to HVAC system at circuit breaker before installation.

  1. Remove old thermostat: Label wires, disconnect from terminals.

  3. Connect wires to matching terminals on new thermostat backplate.
  4. For heat pump systems, connect O/B wire as per system requirements (O for cooling, B for heating).
  5. If no C wire, install batteries for backup power.

Tip: Take a photo of old thermostat wiring before removal for reference.

Programming Schedule

Create a 7-day schedule with up to 4 periods per day (Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep).

  1. Press PROGRAM button to enter schedule mode.
  2. Select day: MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI, SAT, SUN, or copy schedule to all days.
  3. Set periods: For each period (1-4), set time and desired temperature using arrows.
  4. Save: Press MENU to save and exit.
  5. Override: Press HOLD for temporary override, then arrows to adjust temperature.
  6. Cancel hold: Press HOLD again and select "Run Schedule".

WARNING! Do not set extreme temperatures that may cause system strain or discomfort.
