Installation

Turn off power to HVAC system at circuit breaker. Remove old thermostat.

  1. Label wires: Note wire labels (R, W, Y, G, etc.) before disconnecting.
  2. Mount plate: Secure new mounting plate to wall using screws.
  3. Connect wires: Insert labeled wires into corresponding terminals on plate.
  4. Attach thermostat: Align and snap onto mounting plate.
  5. Install batteries: Insert 2 AA batteries for backup.
  6. Restore power: Turn circuit breaker back on.

First-Time Setup

Programming Schedule

Default program: Wake 6:00AM (70°F), Leave 8:00AM (62°F), Return 6:00PM (68°F), Sleep 10:00PM (62°F).

  1. Press PROGRAM button.
  2. Select day (MON-FRI, SAT, SUN, or ALL).
  3. Set time and temperature for each period using arrows.
  4. Press NEXT to advance to next period.
  5. Press DONE to save and exit.
  6. Copy schedule: Use COPY function to apply one day's schedule to others.

Note: Press HOLD to temporarily override schedule; press RUN SCHEDULE to resume.

Advanced Functions

Vacation Hold: Press HOLD, then VACATION; set temperature and duration (1-99 days). Filter Alert: Set reminder interval (30-365 days) in MENU > FILTER TIMER. Temperature Calibration: Adjust displayed temperature ±5°F in MENU > TEMP OFFSET. Keypad Lock: Enable in MENU > LOCK to prevent changes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean display with soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasives. Replace batteries annually or when low battery icon appears. Reset filter timer after filter change.
