Installation & Wiring

Turn off power to HVAC system at circuit breaker before installation.

  1. Remove old thermostat: Label wires according to terminal markings before disconnecting.
  2. Mount new baseplate: Level and secure to wall using provided screws.
  3. Connect wires: Insert labeled wires into corresponding terminals (R, W, Y, G, C, etc.).
  4. Attach thermostat: Align and snap onto baseplate.

First-Time Setup

Operating Modes

  4. OFF: System is off; fan can still be set to ON for circulation.

WARNING! In AUTO mode, ensure heating and cooling setpoints have at least a 3-degree separation to prevent short cycling.

Filter Timer: Set reminder interval (30-365 days) for filter changes; reset after replacing filter.

Temperature Calibration: Adjust displayed temperature ±5°F if needed.

Keypad Lock: Enable to prevent unauthorized changes (default code 0000).
