Installation

Turn off power to HVAC system at circuit breaker before installation. Remove old thermostat and label wires.

  1. Mount baseplate: Use included screws and level to secure baseplate to wall.
  2. Connect wires: Match labeled wires to corresponding terminals on baseplate (R, Rh, Rc, W, Y, G, O/B, C, etc.).
  3. Attach thermostat: Align and snap thermostat onto baseplate.
  4. Install batteries: Insert two AA alkaline batteries for backup.
  5. Restore power: Turn circuit breaker back on.

First-Time Setup

Programming Schedule

Allows 4 time/temperature periods per day: Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep.

  1. Press Program button.
  2. Select day or group (Weekday, Weekend, Individual Days).
  3. For each period (Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep):
    • Set time using Up/Down arrows and Select.
    • Set Heat temperature for that period.
    • Set Cool temperature for that period.
  4. Repeat for all days/groups.
  5. Press Select to save and exit.
