Installation & Wiring

Operating Modes

Select mode based on season and preference.

  1. Heat Mode: System provides heating only when temperature falls below set point.
  2. Cool Mode: System provides cooling only when temperature rises above set point.
  3. Auto Mode: Automatically switches between Heat and Cool to maintain set point range.
  4. Off Mode: System does not run; fan can still be set to On for circulation.
  5. Fan Control: Auto (runs with heating/cooling cycles) or On (continuous operation).

WARNING! Do not switch between Heat and Cool modes rapidly; allow system to stabilize.

Battery & Power

Battery backup maintains settings during power outages. Low battery icon appears when replacement is needed.

Replace batteries: Slide off thermostat from baseplate, replace both AA batteries, reattach. Check/replace batteries annually.

Care & Maintenance
