Installation

Turn off power to HVAC system at circuit breaker before installation.

  1. Remove old thermostat: Label wires, disconnect from terminals.
  2. Mount new baseplate: Level and secure to wall using provided screws.
  3. Connect wires: Match labeled wires to corresponding terminals (R, W, Y, G, etc.).
  4. Attach thermostat: Snap onto baseplate until it clicks into place.
  5. Install batteries: Insert AA batteries for backup power.
  6. Restore power: Turn circuit breaker back on.

First-Time Setup

After installation, configure initial settings.

  1. Set time and day: Press SET CLOCK button, use arrows to adjust.

  2. Match each wire to corresponding terminal on baseplate.
  3. Insert wire into terminal hole and tighten screw.
  4. Ensure no loose strands are touching other terminals.

Tip: Take a photo of old thermostat wiring before removal for reference.

Programming Schedule

Create energy-saving schedule for weekdays and weekends.

  1. Press MENU, select PROGRAM SCHEDULE.
  2. Select day (Mon-Fri, Sat, Sun, or All).
  3. Set temperatures for 4 periods: Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep.
  4. Set time for each period using arrow buttons.
  5. Repeat for each day group as needed.
  6. Press DONE to save and exit.

Override: Press HOLD to temporarily override schedule. Cancel HOLD by pressing HOLD again. Vacation Mode: Set extended hold period for energy savings while away.
